Tyler R. Quesnel

Attorney

Over the course of his career, Tyler Quesnel has represented and helped over 400 families and individuals achieve new beginnings in the United States. Across immigration law, he specializes in the following areas: special immigrant juvenile status (SIJS), asylum, T-visas, U-visas, temporary protected status (TPS), the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), and other related family-based immigration challenges and issues. Beyond immigration, Tyler is willing to consider and review any cases that you are seeking advice or counsel for; if he cannot help, he will do his best to connect you with someone who can.

For Tyler, immigration law is as professional as it is personal. Married to the daughter of refugees, he understands the opportunity second chances and new beginnings can mean for an individual or family and he is proud to help others be a part of that legacy too.

Prior to going solo, Tyler has worked in the immigration departments at Engel & Friedman and Georges Cote LLP, where he specifically assisted in the management of the Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) department. He graduated from Boston College Law School and passed the Massachusetts Bar Exam in 2019. While in law school, he participated in the selective Ninth Circuit Appellate Program, which provides pro bono representation to non-citizens with criminal convictions and had the opportunity to present oral arguments in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in San Francisco, California.

Before going into law, Tyler honorably served four years with the United States Coast Guard and he received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Riverside. In his spare time, Tyler enjoys spending time with his young family, watching and following international futbol, and tending to his pepper plants in their small garden.
